He is the author of worldwide known monuments. His works went down in the
Golden Fund of Art of our country and are stored in a
number of state museums of Ukraine, as well as in private
collections of Ukraine, Germany, Italy, Belgium and Spain.
He studied in Kyiv Republican Art School named after T. G.
Shevchenko. In 1963-1964 taught painting at secondary
school ¹ 21 of Kyiv city. In 1967-1973 he received
professional education in Kyiv State Institute of Art with
the speciality of artist, sculptor, pedagogue. He is one
of the latest disciples of the sculptor, professor Mykhailo
Lysenko.
He is a master of integral form, assiduously chosen details and accessories.
Interiorly filled images of this sculptor are distinguished by exterior
restraint and lapidary volumes.
He is the author of various monuments in Kyiv city: to Sholem Aleichem
(1997), "To the children shoot in Babiy Yar in 1941" (2001), "To the
defenders of state boundary of all times" (2004), in co-authorship with Yu.
V. Bagalika and O. A. Radionov), to the Hero of Ukraine Tetiana Markus
(2009). Participant of a number of regional, republican, all-union,
all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions and competitions since 1972.
Awarded with the medals: “20 years after Victory over fascist Germany”
(1965), “For contribution to the defense of state boundary of Ukraine”
(2004); with the international honorary decoration for help to the families
of Chornobyl "SOS-86" (1996).
